As a pioneer in China's hydraulic hoist industry, Wujin Hydraulic participated in the Three Gorges Project in 1999, supplying hydraulic hoists for 23 spillway outlets, 14 power station intake gates, and sediment flushing outlets.
The rapid intake gates of both the left-bank and right-bank power stations were equipped with QPKY Series Hydraulic Hoists with 710 mm cylinder bores and 15 m strokes, while the spillway outlets adopted QHSY Series Hydraulic Hoists with 650 mm cylinder bores and 11.29 m strokes.
The successful completion of this landmark project marked the first large-scale application of domestically developed hydraulic hoisting equipment in one of China's national strategic infrastructure projects, demonstrating the reliability, engineering excellence, and technological capability of Wujin Hydraulic.
